What information we collect

Batu is a menu and information website — we do not currently run online ordering, reservations, or a newsletter sign-up, so we collect very little personal data. Specifically:

  • Chat messages: if you use the “Ask Kodee” chat assistant widget on this site, the text (and any file/image) you send is processed by our hosting provider’s AI assistant service in order to generate a reply. This only happens if you choose to use the chat widget.
  • Basic server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and technical operation of the site. We don’t use this for marketing or tracking purposes.
  • Cookies: this site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes in the future (for example, if we add visit statistics), we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

How we use your information

We use the limited information above only to: respond to messages sent through the chat widget, keep the website secure and running properly, and meet our legal obligations as a registered Greek company.

Third-party services

This site is hosted by Hostinger, who also provides the “Kodee” AI chat assistant widget. Both services process data on our behalf as part of running this website, under their own privacy and security practices.

Data retention

We keep information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law (for example, standard accounting/company-law retention periods that apply to VA BATUN21 ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Ι.Κ.Ε. more generally, separate from this website).

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, and request data portability.
